Further to the PMs announcement of the four-step plan: GOV.UK COVID-19 Response Spring 21 driving lessons have been included in Step two, all going well that will be on the 12th April 21, DVSA released this update today for England:

“In line with the government’s roadmap announcement driving and theory tests will resume no earlier than 12 April. DVSA is working closely with the government and will provide more information as soon as we are able to do so on other tests, lessons and training.”

NASP are arranging a meeting with DVSA early in March, where we will discuss all the implications of test dates and how DVSA intend to cope with the very long waiting lists, and we will update you with a summary of the meeting.

Private Practice can resume from March 29th when the ‘Stay at home’ rule ends - so if you have an option to go out with your Mum or Dad please do so, at the moment you can only carry out private practice if the journey is deemed ‘essential’

Please stay safe and be careful especially if you have not driven for a while..

Another multiple car crash (6 vehicles) on the A435 which has sadly resulted in some fatalities (Driving too close) Do you know your stopping distances?????
