Still waiting on waiting rooms

Currently, trainers cannot accompany tests and with autumn and winter not far away, trainers need somewhere to shelter during these times, especially where trainers have health conditions that are made worse by inclement weather conditions.

Where test centres are located near amenities such as coffee shops, cafes and supermarkets, trainers can use these areas but some test centres are in the middle of nowhere, making it a difficult situation for many.

DVSA continue to be in talks with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as to whether the waiting rooms can be reopened to allow trainers to use them when their pupil is out on test and DIA and NASP continue to follow this up with DVSA after writing directly to HSE in the summer to highlight the issues trainers were facing.

The HSE clearly stated that it was against the law to lock out their customers (Instructors / pupils)

08.00am test this morning and I was frozen through after sitting on the bench for 40 minutes..
