The DVSA have brought in with out any consultation new rules which directly effect all driving instructors, which could result in them being terminated (Removed from the register) = No employment

Any pupil failing a test will be recorded against the ‘Instructor’ !! So if a pupil takes a test that the instructor deems as ‘test ready’ and that pupil makes an error of judgement through nerves on the day… = FAIL = My fault = termination of my employment..

Its not quite as simple as that, however, if you would like to read the previous post you will see all the recorded markers that will eventually lead to the instructor being call in for a ‘Check test’

From October the 01st 2021 No student / pupil will be allowed by me to take the Practical Test unless 3 consecutive ‘Mock Tests’ have been successfully passed. All my Mock tests are recorded on your Personal Progress Record as normal.

As you all know I am a Grade A Instructor, the DVSA’s highest grade, however, that could change very quickly if my pupils do not pass their test on the day. The DVSA have now made it very personal, not just to me but every Instructor across the UK
