All 30mph roads in Wales will be reduced to 20mph from 17th September

The Welsh Government is introducing a default 20mph speed limit on “restricted roads” across Wales from 17 September.

You can find out more about this change including what types of roads will be affected on GOV.Wales.

While this change will have the most impact on people who live and drive within Wales, all drivers of commercial and passenger vehicles must be aware of it.
