FOI to the DVSA shows nearly half of offences by new drivers in 2019, which caused licenses to be revoke, were related to insurance.

  1. Insurance 5,503 - (49%)

  2. Speed limits 2,871 - (25%) 7 per day

  3. Misc 1,155 - (10%)

  4. Vehicle defects - 713 - (06%)

  5. Careless driving - 475 - (04%)

Its a privilege to have a driving licence and be able to travel as and when you please 24/7 - Why would you risk what you clearly worked hard to achieve?
